Give SCIENCE this Christmas day!Last December 16, Scienkidfic Xplorers partnered with Kaisahang Buhay Foundation for a nerdy Christmas program! The kids enjoyed an hour of toy play, science demos, and gift giving! Getting to know you! Before an hour of science and discovery, the volunteers had a “getting to know” session with the kids of KBF, and what’s a better way to do so than through play? Together, the kids and the volunteers enjoyed activities that involved roleplay and building objects out of different toys! Science experiments from everyday objectsInside our houses are countless possibilities for a science experiment! And that’s exactly what the kids were shown. Using materials like diapers, ziplocks, Nips candies, dishwashing soap, and a paper mache volcano, the kids enjoyed a session full of surprises! The spirit of givingAfter the activities, the spirit of Christmas was kindled through gift giving. Thanks to our volunteers, the kids took home lots of food and gifts for them to enjoy this season. Sharing is definitely caring! Thank you for making this Christmas program possible! The Scienkidfic Xplorers team with Teacher Portia of Kaisahang Buhay Foundation, Inc.
